Video | Backstage interview with Frozen Crown in Tokyo
When Italian heavy metal band Frozen Crown came to Japan for a third time, the whole band sat down with Roppongi Rocks’ Stefan Nilsson in Tokyo for a chat.
The Frozen Crown interview covered a lot of ground, including the importance of Japan for the band, the reason for having a line-up with three guitarists, the impact of having a non-Italian member for the first time, genre constraints, plans for the next album and much more.
Frozen Crown, formed in Milan, Italy in 2017, has released five albums so far – “The Fallen King” (2018), “Crowned in Frost” (2019), “Winterbane” (2021), “Call of the North” (2023) and “War Hearts” (2024).
In the current line-up of the band, co-founders Federico Mondelli on guitar and vocals and Giada “Jade” Etro on lead vocals are joined by Francesco Zof on bass, Niso Tomasini on drums, Alessia Lanzone on guitar and Alexandra Lioness on guitar.
