Mia Coldheart Karlsson and Stefan Nilsson‘s discussion covers many things, including how the Crucified Barbara reunion came about, Mia’s burnout and withdrawal from the music industry, the contrasts between her solo career and what the band does, her session work with The Gems and Donna Cannone and the possibility of new music from Crucified Barbara.
Crucified Barbara was formed in Sweden in 1998. They released four studio albums between 2005 and 2014. The band called it quits in 2016. In 2024, Mia “Coldheart” Karlsson (vocals and guitar), Klara “Force” Rönnqvist Fors (guitar), Ida “Evileye” Stenbacka (bass) and Jannicke “Nicki Wicked” Lindström (drums) started rehearsing together with an eye on a reunion tour. In the summer of 2025, Crucified Barbara toured Sweden, including shows at Sweden Rock Festival and Skogsröjet.
