Cyhra’s Jake E advances to the Swedish final of the Eurovision Song Contest

Cyhra’s frontman Jake E joined his friends in Smash Into Pieces to provide background vocals in their bid to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest.

During Saturday night’s qualifier round, Smash Into Pieces won a place in the Swedish final with the song “Six Feet Under” with Cyhra frontman Jake E on background vocals. In addition to being a fab lead vocalist, Jake E is a seasoned backup singer with experience recording and performing with acts such as Hammerfall and Kamelot.

Past winners of the Eurovision Song Contest have included ABBA and Celine Dion. But the competition’s various stages have also included quite a few rock-related acts such as H.E.A.T, Lordi, Tommy Nilsson (Easy Action), The Poodles, Eclipse, Dynazty, Mustasch, Måneskin, Blind Channel, The Rasmus and more.

The Swedish final will be held on 11th March and the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool, England on 9th – 13th May.
