Saxon’s back in business with “Battering Ram”

Veteran British rockers Saxon are showing great form on a new track called “Battering Ram”. Great old Saxon-style NWOBHM. British heavy metal at its best. Just the way we want Saxon to sound. Saxon will release its 21st album, also called “Battering Ram”, in October. If the rest of the album is as good as the title track, this will be a killer. On this track Biff Byford and the boys are as good as they ever were. Great vocals from Biff, twin guitars chasing each other, great melodies and riffs. The new album has been produced by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, Accept) at his Backstage Recording Studios in Derbyshire, England. Saxon are currently doing European festival gigs. Ahead of the album release Saxon will be touring North America with Motörhead and Armored Saint before they will do a major European tour in November-December. When do we get to see Saxon in Japan again?
